Department forms
Fill a form online.
Two of the forms almost every applicant meets. Fill them in your browser, then send us the completed copy.
- Form 80 Personal particulars for assessment including character assessment
- Form 956 Appointment of a registered migration agent
Form 956 is the form that authorises us to act for you and to receive correspondence from the Department. Nothing can be lodged on your behalf until it is signed.
Health cover
Overseas health insurance.
Australian migration law makes adequate health insurance a condition of several visas – student visas, most temporary work visas, visitor visas and some bridging visas. Cover has to be in place for the whole period of stay, and a gap can be a breach of a visa condition.
- Bupa Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) and overseas visitor cover
- Allianz Care Overseas Visitor Health Cover (OVHC)
- nib Overseas working visitor cover
OSHC and OVHC are not the same product. A student visa requires Overseas Student Health Cover; visitor and temporary work visas take Overseas Visitor Health Cover. Buying the wrong one can leave a visa condition unmet, so check which your visa requires before you pay.
We are not insurance brokers or financial advisers. We can point you to providers and tell you what your visa requires; the cover you buy is a decision between you and the insurer.
We receive a commission from Bupa and from Allianz when cover is taken out through the links above. You are free to buy cover anywhere; any policy that meets your visa condition is acceptable. Where we act for you, this interest is also set out in writing in your service agreement before any work starts.

Course availability, fees and entry requirements are set by each provider and change without notice. We do not speak for any provider.
We receive a commission from education providers when a student we refer enrols. You are free to apply to any provider, including ones we do not work with. Where we also act for you on a visa, this interest is set out in writing in your service agreement before any work starts.
