ANZSCO 2022

Search ANZSCO.

Find your occupation among all 1,076 in ANZSCO: what it involves, its skill level, and which visa occupation lists it is on.

    How to search

    • By job title – chef, registered nurse, civil engineer. Alternative titles and specialisations count too, so sous chef finds Chef.
    • By what you do – I fix cars or looking after elderly people. The search reads the ABS descriptions and tasks, and suggests the closest occupations.
    • By code – a six-digit occupation code such as 261313, or a group code such as 3513 or 26. Old ANZSCO 2013 codes, as used on some skills assessments and the skilled lists, are converted to ANZSCO 2022 using the ABS correspondence tables.

The best match opens in full: what the job involves, its skill level, other names for it, and the visa occupation lists it is on. Tap any other result to open it.

    About this search

The occupations, descriptions, alternative titles, specialisations, skill levels and tasks are the Australian Bureau of Statistics’ ANZSCO 2022, released 22 November 2022 (CC BY 4.0). The visa lists come from the instruments on the Federal Register of Legislation, each named with its compilation on the occupation list search. Which ANZSCO edition a visa provision uses is set by LIN 24/105: see ANZSCO 2022 and ANZSCO 2013.
