Trades Recognition Australia skills assessment fees: LIN 23/002
LIN 23/002 sets the fees Trades Recognition Australia charges for a migration skills assessment, the Job Ready Program, the TSS and Offshore skills assessment programs, and an internal review of an assessment.
The Migration (Fees for assessment of qualifications and experience) Instrument (LIN 23/002) 2023 was signed on 21 March 2023 by the Minister for Immigration, Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs, under subregulation 5.40(1) of the Migration Regulations 1994. It commenced the day after registration and has been in force since 23 March 2023. It repealed the previous fee instrument, LIN 21/023.
Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) assesses trade skills gained overseas or in Australia for visa applications that require an assessment of a person’s qualifications or experience. The explanatory statement describes TRA as a cost recovered service delivery unit within the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, which is why its fees are set by this instrument.
